Susan Farling, RN, MA
Registered Clinical Counsellor
A few words about my background:
My clinical practice includes both short-term solution focused counselling and longer-term therapy. I enjoy working with a wide range of people - late teens to seniors, men and women, both individually and in couples - gay, lesbian and heterosexual.
I am a member in good standing of both the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. I am a founding member of Westcoast Clinical Counselling. I have volunteered my time as a member of the B.C.A.C.C. ethics committee and delegate council. I have served on the board of Citizens Counselling Center.
I engage in regular on-going peer supervision, professional development and self directed studies.
In addition to my private practice, I provide counselling services through various Employee and Family Assistance Programs, including the City of Victoria EFAP.
My relationship with my very creative young-adult daughter enriches and expands my life. I have a wide range of interests and enjoy learning, playfulness and connection.
